Imposter is a party game for 3 or more players. Everyone gets the same secret word – except the imposter. Say one word each, discuss, and vote out the bluffer.

Do I need an account?
No. You can play everything without an account. You can choose to sign in with Apple, and we never receive your name or email address.
How do I play on several phones?
Everyone needs Imposter on their own iPhone with Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi on. One person taps Play nearby → Start a room, the others join from the list or by scanning the room's QR code. No internet is needed.
The phones can't find each other
Check every phone: Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth on, airplane mode off, Local Network allowed for Imposter (Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network) and any VPN turned off – a VPN often hides the phones from each other. Everyone needs the same version of Imposter, and the host keeps the app open.
How do I change the language?
Open Settings in the app. Under Language you can choose the app's language and, separately, the language of the secret words.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, tap Settings → Account → Delete account. The account and all its data are deleted immediately and permanently.
Does the app cost anything?
The app is free to download and play. Purchases for more categories, modes and features are coming; see the prices page.
