Chaos

The number of imposters is random. Most rounds play normally – but sometimes there's no imposter at all, and sometimes everyone is one.

How it plays

  1. Everyone looks at their card as usual.
  2. Say one word each and discuss – but nobody can be sure how many imposters there are.
  3. Vote. You can also vote that there's no imposter.

Tips

  • A round where everyone seems to know the word might really have no imposter.
  • If nobody's word fits together, everyone may be an imposter.

Best for: Party nights when you want surprises.

Classic

The imposter knows it and gets no word.

Double Agent

The imposter gets a similar word – and doesn't know they're the imposter.

Ghost

One player gets a blank card and has to bluff from nothing.
